Each day, my students spend time on the Chromebooks and computers in our classroom. The program they use reinforces skills we have learned about in the classroom. I have found that practicing on this program enhances my students' retention of knowledge they learn. Computers and children are the future and learning together goes hand in hand! In order to use this program effectively, my class needs headphones with microphones so they can speak into the computer program and record themselves reading. In turn, this will allow me to hear their recordings and monitor their reading progress. The headphones will also help my students to concentrate and focus without disturbing each other.
