I would love to create STEAM centers in my classroom that have structure and purpose. As I research and develop the tasks for these centers I am inspired by all the wonderful materials available. I am trying to build on my collection of resources so that students can come to the STEAM centers and be captivated by the materials at their disposal. I want students to feel excited, surprised and challenged by their time in the STEAM centers. I have a limited classroom budget that I am using to supply the basic paper, pencils, markers, crayons, etc. and so as a new teacher I am looking for creative ways to supply my classroom with engaging manipulatives.
