Working with students who not only have poverty and trauma to deal with, but also significant learning, social/emotional, behavioral and cognitive disabilities has proven to be incredibly rewarding, but also so very thought provoking as to how I can help to enrich their lives. Giving them the opportunity to leave their reality behind for even just a few minutes a day, giving them the right tools to enjoy reading, and giving them a print rich classroom environment is what I strive to accomplish with this project. With your support my future doctors, engineers, singers, ninjas, pirates, ballerinas, hairdressers, and artists will have an amazing classroom library.

About my class
