All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind-I want to put books in their hands that are relevant to their lives. My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy! Every student book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read. Several of my students need headphones to listen to their book on audio as they read along. My students also need high-interest, drama-filled, fun and engaging books to hook them into reading. These comfortable chairs and engaging books can help to increase buy-in. Our goal is to help students increase their reading levels by several grade levels. Reading well improves a student's chances for academic success and success in life.
