The goal of my project is to provide my students with daily access to computers. The resources are limited at our charter school and teachers have to share 100 laptops for nearly 700 students. My students will have limitless opportunities to practice, build, and master necessary academic skills with access to technology. They need one-to-one laptops to develop the skills needed in this modern day era. Computers will enhance my students academic skills and computer literacy. My high school Social Studies lessons focus on developing academic language, conducting academic research and writing academic papers. I utilize Google Classroom and several other interactive websites. Interactive lesson plans will prepare them for college and provide the needed technological experience for professional success. This project will provide my students access to resources which will expand their knowledge in citizenship, civic engagement and academics.
