Flexible seating will make a difference in the learning of my class by allowing them the personal choice of where they will learn and work best in the classroom. When I was in school, I never liked sitting at a hard desk and chair all day. This caused me to frequently get up and walk around the classroom or wanting to take trips throughout the building. If I would have been able to find a different spot that would have worked best for my learning style, I may not have been moving around so much. I have introduced my class to flexible seating this year, and I have been so impressed watching my kids learn where they work hard and where some spots are that do not help them learn. Through watching their choices so far this year, I have seen some ideas for flex seating that will help my kids. Please help fund this project to give my kids all the opportunities to grow their learning.
