My high school students have a difficult time focusing and learning through this virtual environment with a multitude of background distractions. They need headphones with microphones to communicate with me and block out background noise. They need some tools to help them become better learners in a virtual environment through this pandemic. They also need flash drives to save their work so that when they return to school, we can transfer all of their work quickly and easily to the school network to help build their career portfolios. It's important to give them all of the tools they need to be successful. They are showing up every day, ready to learn and participate, but outside distractions are making this challenging. My students are dual-enrolled in Reading Area Community College and work so hard to get an education. They are amazing and resilient and continue to make me proud every day at their willingness to be present and focus - I just want to make that a little easier for them to do.
