My students are some of the most kind and motivated students I have ever worked with. They are from rural areas and sometimes band becomes their only creative outlet. Many students are involved in multiple ensembles and truly enjoy learning new and challenging music. There are four instrumental performing groups at Yough High School: concert band, marching band, Jazz One, Jazz Two, and we are planning to add percussion ensemble to the fold this upcoming school year!

About my class
