These books will help me build a classroom library that I strive to create. My classroom library will be enjoyed by students with various learning styles and abilities. It will be a place where all students can come together and enjoy a good book. With that being said, all of the books have been chosen with my students' interest in mind. This project will help them develop a love for reading that will forever change how they learn. As a fourth grade teacher, I will be helping my students enhance how they read, comprehend, and write in response to what they read. A variety of books is essential to any classroom. A document camera will allow me to teach students how to annotate and edit their papers LIVE! This tool will give students hands-on experiences through the writing process. Additionally, my students will be doing a novel study on Frindle by Andrew Clements. This funny and interactive novel will be used to practice and assess various reading and writing practices. I could not be any more excited to teach a fourth grade class. Every thing will be treated with love and care, it will be truly appreciated. I cannot wait to hear all the amazing things they will read and write about this school year.
