Many of my students are English language learners. Having differentiated learning centers will help aide them in their learning. My students thrive during small group and center time. This is the time of day where they are taught at their individual levels, create friendships, and use their imaginations while at the same time foster their learning with an array of different materials. During small group instruction and centers time students gain confidence and independence. Teaching them that learning can happen and materials can be hands on. Many of my students don't have the resources at home as they do at school, so any time of material that is colorful and new would be exciting for them! Having hands on center activities, tens frames, dry erase boards, ready made centers and the list goes on! They would love anything and everything!
