Books made an impact on my life, and I am hoping they will do the same for the students in my classroom. Engaging my students in texts that are relevant to their interests will help inspire a love of reading for the rest of their lives. I want to introduce my students to the joy that can come from reading. Diving into a book that peaks their interest can make all the difference to these student's ability to grasp complex concepts and truly grow.
