The variety of chairs and seats chosen for my classroom will give my students choice and comfort while working in our small group. My K-2 students are wiggly and have a hard time focusing! I included some light covers and fidgets in my project to help aid my students in their ability to stay focused on reading and math activities. Research has shown that students with ADD, ADHD, and focus issues can benefit from movement that will aid in their ability to stay on task. I am excited at the possibility of providing these flexible seating options to my students. I expect to see some great improvement on focus in my groups with these great options!
