The items in this project will help make my craft projects more fun and accessible for students. I want to offer the most variety of colors, textures, and types of materials for each unit. Although some of the topics can be done bare-bones with limited materials, having a greater variety will give each student more space to be unique and independent. I can definitely tell the difference when students see more available materials - they are immediately more inspired to try new things and take more risks with their artworks.
