New special education teacher needs computers to create a supportive learning environment in a developing, differentiated intervention model through direct instruction, independent study, and extension activities with technology to meet the diverse learning needs of students. While helping students access curriculum, engage with writing instruction, work on behavior management, and increase independent work time. Having a station in my classroom with Chromebooks and headphones will allow students to work independently during rotations focusing on skills they are trying to acquire while accessing technology. With that being said, I can focus on small group direct instruction with the remaining students knowing that the others are highly interested in their independent tasks.

About my class
