Last year was my first year of teaching and I was trying to get the basics. This year I want to start planning to have the opportunity to do dissections with my students. For my students to be successful in a science environment, safety is my number one priority! With your help, my students will have safety goggles and aprons making it possible to dissect organs or organisms! This past year we ordered basic dissection kits. I am hoping next year to have our first dissection for my seventh graders! These goggles and aprons will be used not only for dissections but when we do other labs. This past year we did a mystery matter lab with yeast, extracted DNA from a strawberry, and worked with chemicals to see how they react- just some examples.
