I teach in a high needs (title 1) special education school. All of the students in my school have special needs. Due to their high energy levels and special needs, it is difficult to engage them with materials you would see in a regular classroom. My students need multi-sensory lessons. This is difficult because I lack technology and other resources in my classroom. I have a broken smartboard and limited resources. Any support that you can provide will have a huge impact on my class. Many people believe special needs students can't achieve what their peers do. Despite this, I want to inspire my students to reach their goals, overcome their challenges, and prove the beliefs of others wrong.
