My classroom theme is Harry Potter. Most of my students this year are struggling readers or simply do not love to read. I designed my classroom to be welcoming and cozy and decorated in all things Harry Potter. I chose books to start my classroom library that will hook my students into reading. The library will be located in my reading nook which includes comfy armchairs. These books will allow my students to choose books that they are interested in reading, beyond the books chosen for the 9th grade state curriculum. I want them to come back to read more once they finish a book from the library!
