The LEGO WeDo 2.0 is built on the Next Generation Science Standards and fosters key science and engineering practices. The skills being utilized by students are asking questions to identify problems. Solving problems to find design solutions, modeling, prototyping, and investigating, students will have to use computational thinking that will allow them to access and understand their digital world. They will be part of a team where they will be collaborating and communicating information. Students will need mice to manipulate various objects on the screen. They will use it to code their models for movement. Several of my students have disabilities and they will greatly benefit from manipulating a mouse instead of memorizing the keyboard.
