Science World classroom magazine will help my students to learn about current issues in science on the reading level with which they are comfortable in a fun format. As students study the latest scientific information in this periodical they are working on their reading skills as well as their science academic content. My students have a lack of extra-curricular reading materials available in their homes. The magazine can help to model keeping up with news and information in a written format on a weekly basis. I expect this to change the way my students approach scientific information in their lives.

About my class
