I chose to start a project with this organization because my students deserve it! These kids don't have a lot at home and we get very little to no money to build our PE department. Receiving this extra equipment will mean the world to them and will help expose them to more during their Physical Education experience. Some of the items that I chose for my project were catch pads to learn basic catching and throwing skills, speed stacks to improve hand eye coordination and agility, and flying disks! My Physical Education class gives my students the opportunity to work together, build relationships, and have fun at the same time. My class gives them a mental break throughout their day that allows them burn off energy and exercise!
