During these hard times, virtual learning has become the new way in which we educate our students. The students suffering the most throughout these times are students who come from low socioeconomic status families. The school where I am currently employed has many students that do not have the appropriate technology to make remote learning a possibility. Our school has given out most of the technology we had in the building so that students can work from home. This has left very few computers in the building for teachers to work with. The technology left in the building is old and makes it very hard to accommodate students' learning needs. A new computer will make it easier to download the appropriate softwares necessary to upload lessons and videos for students' learning.
