In my classroom, we want to be more ECO-friendly by using white boards. For example: when my students are working on math, students will use less paper, erasing, and not wasting time searching for scrap paper (that just ends up in the trash). By using whiteboards it creates less cleanup in the classroom. By using white boards instead of paper, my students can work in a more visual environment without the clutter of paper. By using white boards, we create a clean, organized, clutter-free, hands-on work environment for my struggling learners. Whiteboards can also be used as a great graphic organizer by using different colors when teaching reading comprehension. One color for each board, makes a great visual.
