I want to ensure that each of my students has the necessary supplies to be successful in mathematics and high school in general. With budgets being tight, and resources limited, we do not have a textbook for some of our courses. I print out outlines for my students each day with examples that we will complete in class to create our own book of notes. With the students varied socioeconomic backgrounds, not all of my students have the tools needed to get organized and be successful. I would like to have binders and folders available for students to keep their work organized and readily available to study from. Inside each binder or folder would be a pencil holder with pencils, highlighters, and erasers the students can use in all of their classes. If my students are more organized it will help them when answering homework questions and studying for assessments. Organization is a life skill that will stay with the students beyond the classroom walls.
