I cannot explain how powerful these books are, and how life-changing they have been for my kiddos. I have seen students have true break-throughs because of the connections they form with the characters in these books, and the themes inherent in the stories. These books allow my students to express themselves. For some of them, these are the first books they fall in love with, and that is a beautiful thing to see. It's also great to see them light up with brand new books. It gives them a sense of pride in their work. Thank you for your help.
