STEM Bins offer choice and variety when constructing objects and my students will develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. There will be suggestions for building (picture cards) or students can choose to make something original. Literacy skills will also be developed because the STEM Bin curriculum tool we will use contains several writing tasks to use with the materials. The Legos, foam balls, pipe cleaners, straws, blocks, planks, tape, Velcro, Playdoh, craft sticks, ​and dixie cups will be available (in the storage boxes) in the mornings for students to begin their day with creative thinking. This will get them ready for a great day of learning!
