My students live in a very tough urban area, most live below the poverty line. Don't let that fool you, they are smart and eager to learn. They are creative and expressive children who enjoy being students, at the very least, it gives them a break from "real life". They have high aspirations for themselves. Most of my students want to go to college. They know very little about careers involving computers, which is ironic since most professionals use computers in some way.

About my class
