In the modern day classroom, you will most often see some form of technology. These are provided to students so they can learn and practice many skills in a way that matches our society. We are lucky to live in a world where we have incredible access to resources through technology and this project is to give my students that same access. My main focus with getting the Fire tablets in my room is for us to be able to use a variety of reading apps. Students have better success in learning if they are not only exposed to more books, but are also read to more often. These apps provide many books that are the appropriate level for the students but also has the option to read the books to them. Finding books that match a variety of students' reading levels can be very difficult, but with the access to educational apps and websites, we will have plenty of reading material at our fingertips.
