I work with students ranging from 6th-8th grade. I interact with students in the Media Center and in classrooms. It is my mission as a School Media Library Specialist to proactively engage students in comprehensive learning of a variety of subjects using a wide range of techniques. By seamlessly pursuing a dynamic environment conducive to learning, I strive to include students from all backgrounds. To enhance absorption of information, I provide learning tools for all types of learners, including visual, auditory, read-write, and kinesthetic learners. I awaken students' passion by encouraging independence in material type and selection, integrating technological resources with traditional elements. As a collaborator, I pursue and maintain teacher correspondence, welcoming and providing feedback. As a teacher, provider, researcher, and helper, I act as an integral link between all facets of education.
