Learning through play is the learning style of preschoolers. When we are able to create an environment that allows for students to explore on their developmental needs their learning is more successful. Students that struggle with attention or others challenges use a differentiated opportunity to learn. These items including the light table, building blocks and accessories provide that opportunity. The lights and colors will help our students to be more engaged in another opportunity of play. For students with special needs an activity that is engaging and interesting helps them to be more successful in learning. The light table and blocks create a calm sensory activity to work on early developmental skills like following directions, counting, patterns and creativity in building. This donation would open another experience for our students to be successful in learning.
