What better way to introduce young minds to STEM than through a good book. Our STEM class is in its third year and our STEM library is very limited. We are looking to increase our STEM library with a few pieces of good STEM literature. Our students will have fun identifying with young kids their own age making new inventions and learning along the way! We often use a book at the beginning of class to help the students get ideas churning in their heads. The reading is then followed by an activity that will capitalize on what has been learned or focused on for that day. STEM is relatively new (3 years) in our school and is constantly building and evolving. A substantial STEM library would be an awesome addition to our classroom.
