My students are energetic, curious 7th graders who enjoy active learning. They thrive on hands-on labs and activities that allow them to discover concepts for themselves and problem solve. Our school is over 50% free/reduced lunch and many of my students do not have the opportunity to experience educationally enriching activities outside of school. A significant percentage of students do not have Internet access in their home or have very limited technology. Our students need the opportunities as those students living without these limitations.
