The rolling bulletin boards and T-pins will allow students to work collaboratively to create displays of their artwork and present them to the school community by positioning the boards outside of the classroom. This will allow students to more deeply present their art while also teaching others about what we are learning in class, both of which further the effectiveness of Project Based Learning and my ability to meet National Core Art Standards. The static drying racks will allow students to more easily dry their wet media like watercolor and sumi ink paintings. I currently have a drying rack, but it is really difficult for students to access because the racks collapse up and down, making it challenging to remove a painting from the bottom racks. Also, due to social distancing requirements and shortened class time (45 minutes), having a variety of racks scattered around the room will make it more accessible for students to independently dry and relocate their artworks. All of these art supplies will support students in creating artwork in the classroom.
