How these materials will make a difference in my students learning practices:
The rolling bin cart will allow me to display the guided math activities in an organized way. Organization is important for the independent activities to run smoothly. This will enable the children to follow the guided math routine with ease.
The magnetic calendar will help my students become familiar with and master calendar skills.
My students will practice addition and subtraction equations with the magnetic numbers operation kit. Two students will be able to participate in the activity using the double sided magnetic board.
The double sided write and wipe magnetic board will serve a dual purpose. Not only will my students be able to practice number skills with the magnetic operations kit, they will also be able to use dry erase markers to practice such activities as number formation, making groups of ten , graphing, word problems, drawing and recognizing shapes, and partner collaboration.
