My students are currently sitting on the cold, hard classroom floor during whole class lessons. I want my students to feel comfortable as I teach lessons to them. As I teach in an ICT classroom, many of my students have attentional issues. I see students fidget around, and worry that they may have trouble focusing due to the fact that they are simply uncomfortable sitting on the floor by the smart board. As we are currently at maximum capacity, we need a giant rug in order to include all students. While my co-teacher and I have attempted to make our classroom as cozy as possible, we really feel that this rug will benefit our students. Having this rug in my classroom will help my students succeed in third grade this year, and make them more comfortable while they learn!
