"Every student can learn, just not on the same day or in the same way." - George Evans. I have a caseload which consists of high emotional and behavioral needs. Therefore, they need tools to help them focus, relieve nervous energy, anxiety, and psychological stress.
By funding my project you are helping to stimulate my students learning by giving them choice, comfort, community, collaboration, a commitment to learning, and hopefully a little FUN!
I am asking for a variety of fidget tools, to help my students self-regulate and increase their attention and focus abilities. The flexible seating items I've selected will also help my learners to remain focused and engaged during instructional times. For many it takes a lot of energy to focus on quietly sitting in a desk and working. By providing them with different seating options they are able to move, while not being disruptive to their classmates.
