I work in what might be viewed as a high-needs area. However, I do not allow that to interfere with the quality of education that I provide my students. I foster an encouraging environment where students are engaged and supported in their learning daily. The best words to describe my students are: motivated learners, critical thinkers and eager workers. They are focused and they work hard towards the quarterly goals that has been set for them. They are relentless, they are over-comers. In my class, we don't view obstacles as barriers. Instead, we see them as building blocks to stand on as we climb to higher levels. I am hoping that with kind and generous donors they'll have access to materials that will not only make learning fun but it will assist in closing the achievement gaps. Your support will help us tremendously. Thank you for considering my class. 😀
