To better help my students learn history, science and literature, I use art to bring the various subject matter alive. With the various art products, students will be able to make mobiles of the planets with the acrylic paints in the style of liquid art, use the pastels to make drawings of trees such as magnolias that were unknown to Europeans, and use the watercolors to make new book covers for the texts we read. The materials requested will not be provided by the district and yet, are necessary to help students be creative and solidify their understanding of subject matter.
