This year my students and I have jumped full fledged into flexible seating, and I can’t believe the excitement the class is having over the idea of choosing their own learning space and finding what works best for them. I have noticed amazing differences in my students when provided flexible seating options. So far, our yoga balls and metal stools have been our favorites; however, I only have enough for about a third of my class to experience alternative seating options.
My goal is to be able to provide each of my students with a flexible seating option that works best for them and their learning!
The wobble chairs allow movement without disruption. The floor chairs would be perfect for a low table, where the students could stretch their legs. The stability rings would tame the yoga balls from rolling across the classroom! The Bouncy Bands would be for my students who are fine with staying in their chair - the bands would make them feel like they're a part of the flexible seating as well.
My students would be absolutely THRILLED to have additional seating options in the classroom. They would make our class feel more like a home & make learning so much for fun!
