Students are in school for 7-8 hours a day. They are expected to work and stay focused for longer than their bodies allow. With a flexible seating option, students are able to move and get out their wiggles while staying focused on their work. This movement also increases oxygen flow to the brain and their core strength. Flexible seating also allows students the choice of how they feel they will learn best that day. Having the freedom of choice gives students a voice they've not had before. Students are also more comfortable throughout the day with flexible seating. Instead of having to sit on those hard, plastic chairs all day, they can now have more comfort with balance ball seats. Let's not forget that children need a little fun in their lives and with flexible seating, in addition to staying focused on their learning for longer periods of time, they will also be having fun!
