It is a gift to find reading material that is both engaging and rigorous. Scholastic News Magazines are a fantastic resource for improving 3rd grade fluency and comprehension. In our school’s diverse population, Scholastic News provides students with the opportunity to start collaborative discussions and debates about real life issues. Students can highlight, write on, and learn about text features in an exciting way. The students will be able to bring home their magazine each Friday, giving them the opportunity to have in-depth discussions about current events with their family. Please help my students develop their love of reading informational text, while improving their speech and language skills.
