I teach in a self-contained early childhood classroom with three to five year-olds. The students in my classroom benefit from push-in therapy, including speech and language, occupational, physical and vision therapy. They would greatly benefit from the use of a light table in the classroom every day during centers. The use of manipulatives and sensory materials for the light table will also support their growth in all areas of development. A light table would especially benefit those students who require vision support!! It would also be a great activity to engage all of my students in hands-on activities, so that they may be successful within the school environment.
