The iPads requested will allow my students to get involved in learning and exploring in ways that are otherwise impossible for some. Up until a year ago, some of my students didn't even have a computer at home. School may be the only place they can see into the world of possibilities that technology can provide. Some of the things they will be used for are online books with options to read-aloud and answer questions. Research for STEAM and other projects will occur on them. Having the technology in the class will foster more inquiry, collaboration and process-based learning. Students will get to access math games and science videos with real-world connections to the standards we're learning.
