This volleyball equipment will allow me to start a before school volleyball club where I can introduce students in grades 3-5 to one of the fastest growing sports that I know and love. This club will allow boys and girls to learn a new sport. Research shows that being involved in a sport helps children learn respect, how to work with others, communicate, get physically fit, build self-esteem, time management, and helps develop leadership skills. It is my hope that this volleyball club will allow under privileged students the opportunity to try a sport they wouldn't normally be able to afford.

About my class
