We use our whiteboard together with a projector every day in our classroom for most of our subjects. We can use the computer or the document camera to project onto our whiteboard, but it is extremely time consuming to have to walk to the back of the classroom where the computer is to control where to go next. They are as patient as they can be, but many of these students have extremely limited attention spans. By having an interactive whiteboard, it would eliminate the need to be walking back to the computer so much, and they could have more uninterrupted time to focus on the activity on the board. This will increase their desire to learn more and interact with technology in an out of the box kind of way.
