The materials listed are requested to be sure my kids can be provided with the tools and resources they need to be successful. As a first year teacher, I will have the privilege of working with 6 classes of 20-25 energetic 4th graders. It is my passion to positively impact every student that enters my classroom. Having a flexible seating arrangement in my classroom will give my students choice and allow them the opportunity to work in conditions that are optimal for their peak performance. I know that my students are capable of learning in the hard rock chairs and standard desk. But ask your self Who truly wants to sit in the same chair for 6 hours at school? By allowing my students the choice of where they work and if they sit or stand, I will greatly reduce the behavioral problems, especially with my students that have been diagnosed with ADHD. Flexible seating chairs, like Anywhere Chairs, Stools,bean bags, yoga mats, etc., create an unmatched learning environment where ALL students can thrive. Once you get kids excited about learning, you give them a lifelong gift. I have incorporated skills that will last a lifetime like hard work, Problem solving and critical thinking into our every day lessons. I truly wish to create a warm, comfortable and inviting classroom for my students
