Helping students to learn about and develop positive coping strategies is a crucial part of supporting them to combat the social, emotional, and behavioral challenges they face each and every day. Every child looks for something different when it comes to coping; some want something soft they can fidget with in their hands while others want a body sock to wrap themselves up in. The ability to cope is a skill that they will carry with them for all of their lives. By providing these unique coping tools to our students, we can continue to support their social and emotional development, and help these students make the most of their educational experience.

About my class
