These materials will allow the students to work in different areas of the classroom. Our curriculum includes a lot of small group work. The clipboards would allow the students to work easily away from their desks. The cushions and ottomans would give students an additional place to work with their group. We also would use these items for independent reading time. They would have options to sit comfortably while they are reading. I also have students who ask to come closer when copying something specfic from the board. The clipboards and ottoman would help them to be able to have a closer place to work.
