STEM items allow for students to explore and build a variety of options. The only hold back is the students imagination. They are able to take this exploration and put it into practice for core content areas they are working on. Through the use of STEM based projects and alternative seating that meets the needs of the students, we create a learning environment that is enjoyed by all. By allowing students the opportunity to choose, they take ownership of their learning and then are able to share that learning with others. The selected books will help students with their social and emotional learning which is important the first days and months of school.
