My students have a need for non-standard work spaces. We are already in the process of securing some flexible classroom furniture, but are also in need of some beanbag chairs to meet these needs. In addition, we are attempting to channel our energy through multiple learning centers that allow student to shift focus, but remain on task. Often times, the teacher is immersed in one of the small groups, and not always able to manage the noise level of the class. The Yacker Tracker monitors the classroom decibel level and reminds student what appropriate levels are, without needing to stop the flow of the classwork.
