Early Education students learn best through play. Giving them an updated, functioning kitchen set will allow them to explore, expand and engage in dramatic play. Dramatic play is central to children's healthy development and learning during the preschool years. When children engage in dramatic play they deepen their understanding of the world and develop skills that will serve them throughout their lives. A light table can really enhance math, literacy and writing skills in a fun, playful way. The table will be used for open ended play experiences, teaching academic concepts, arts, crafts and so much more. Adding the light table to our center based classroom will become a powerhouse of learning!
